The Welch Group has four transport depots operating a varied modern fleet of vehicles and trailers designed to offer maximum flexibility. We can move anything from a small single pallet to maximum weight articulated vehicle loads.

Through our membership of both Palletways UK Ltd distribution system, widely recognised as the market leader in small pallet non-hazardous distribution and The Hazchem Network which specializes in moving small consignments of hazardous freight that other pallet systems won’t accept, each depot can arrange deliveries and collections throughout the UK, either on a next-day or two-day economy service.

All of our transport operations use bespoke computer software to facilitate the efficient handling of customers’ orders. In some cases we can offer our customers full online track and trace and planning a full track and trace rollout is expected to be available to all customers by mid 2007.

We employ our own driver training officer, and as well as regular and rigorous driving appraisals, our drivers undertake regular training and are amongst the highest trained in the industry, so your goods are in safe hands with Welch’s Transport.
